When we look at all the different religions, each with their own beliefs, how then can they all be right if they differ? The truth is they can’t for there are not many ways to God, but only one way. This way is through Christ and not an organized religion or denomination, but by His spirit. Christ is the cornerstone sadly many reject! (Acts 4:11,12) This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Did you know the word denomination actually means “Division”, yet scripture teaches we are to have no divisions in the body of Christ as believer’s, yet this does not stop the world from constantly raising up new religions and denomination’s in the earth.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. (Hebrews 9:24).
SO WHERE IS THE TRUE CHURCH OF GOD?
The church Jesus (Yahshua) spoke of is a spiritual church that would be built through the Holy Spirit which He promised to send when He returned to God the Father after His death. It is a church He purchased with His own shed blood! A church that would be built of a people filled with His Holy Spirit.
At Paul’s departure he was highly concerned that when he left the truth he had taught the people would then veer from the truth (Acts 20:28) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
God is a God of faith and not of an outward appearance as the world looks to. How many times I hear on Sunday a person say I went to church today. That is fine and good, only our Lord is the God of the DAILY, not weekly church, and is not limited to just an hour. (Hebrews 11:1) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. As the world worships what they can see and touch, we must remember our Lord said He was not of the world therefore neither are those who worship and serve Him in His spiritual church (John 4:23,24) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
The stones of Gods church are alive and living! Serving Him as the temple He made them to be, and as the world will always think you are suppose to go to church, we know we are to be the church (Temple) Christ made us to be (1 Peter 2:4-10) To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. (1 Corinthians 3:16,17).
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things? (Acts 7:48-50).
