The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them. (Proverbs 20:12).
How many lives are lived void of the knowledge that God sees and hears every single person on the face of the earth (Isaiah 40:21-23) Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
Scripture teaches such good advice for our protection if we heed it. Not all heart’s are set on the good of others, in fact the wicked don’t mind if they lose sleep as long as they plot to take others down thinking God does not see them (Proverbs 4:14-19) Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
People who think they can hide their actions from God are blind to the fact He is all knowing ( Isaiah 29:15,16) Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
It is a sobering thought to think in the end of our lives at the judgment day each and every one of us will give answer for every single word we have said, and for how we treated each other. Some do not understand when we speak it is whats on our heart (Matthew 12:33-37) Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
