Although there are many who follow different ways of believing in God, sadly their ways take them even further from Him. A couple of examples of false teachings are how Oprah who states it is alright whoever you believe in as your “Higher Power” or whatever you want to call it. Shirley maclaine tells of reincarnation and metaphysics which is yet another avenue people buy into and is not scriptural leading many astray!

Although there are different denominations as way’s to believe in God, they still separate people and cause division. Hundred’s of denomination’s cannot all be teaching the same message! Division is something our Lord warned us would happen ( 1 Corinthians 1:10) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Scripture teaches faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1) Jesus is the chief cornerstone of a spiritual church many miss learning. It is not the mass attendance of wood and stone building’s, for He said where there are two or three gathered together in His name there is He in the midst of them. He also said “I am the way, the truth, and the life no man cometh unto the Father but by me”.

It is the intimate one on one relationship through His holy spirit is God truly worshiped (Acts 4:11-12) This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

As many continue following other paths going by what they see, the true church our Lord purchased with His own shed blood is being built through the spirit of the living God as He intended! He is the living stone which people to this day disallow as the one to follow (1 Peter 2:4-10) To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. (Romans 16:17,18).
