We live in a world that some days happy is the last thing we can be.Paul had the right frame of mind when he was on trial and said to King Agrippa “I Think Myself Happy”.(Acts 26:2).
How can anyone be happy when they are on trial or going through a trial? Yet Paul had that triumphant Spirit no matter what to be joyous. It is revealed it was his belief in the promise of hope God gave unto our fathers.“And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers;Unto which promise our twelve tribes,instantly serving God day and night,hope to come.For which hope’s sake,King Agrippa,I am accused of the Jews”.(Acts 26:6,7).
People do not understand the true joy Christians have when they stand on the Promises Of God! In fact the world will make you feel like there’s a law against it for they do not know it is written there is NO LAW AGAINST JOY. “But the fruit of the Spirit is: Love,JOY,Peace,Longsuffering,Gentleness,Faith,Meekness,Temperance:against such there is NO LAW”.(Galatians 5:22,23).
The churches of Macedonia knew the joy it was that even in deep poverty had joy from being free in the Lord and to fellowship with the saints. “How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.For to their power,I bear record,yea,and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;Praying us with much entreaty that we would receive the gift,and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints”.
(2 Corinthians 8:1-4).
Remember “The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength”.(Nehemiah 8:10).
JESUS SAID: BE OF GOOD CHEER FOR I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD!
