“The Power Of God”

When we put our full Faith(trust) in God, he renews our strength daily and it is written even those who would normally be strong as the youth would be are faint and weary without the power of God in their lives. “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth. fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”.(Isaiah 40:28-31).

There is no light way of telling about the Awesome Power of God.It is his power that can heal us of any disease,and heal those with a broken heart.It is prophesy that has come to pass by Christ himself when he entered the temple of his time and read from Isaiah: “And he taught in their synagogues,being glorified of all. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isai -as(Isaiah). And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord”.(Luke 4:15-18)…..(Isaiah 61:1,2).

God who is infinite has the power to heal us of any diseases and remove all sin. “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases”.We can rest and have full assurance that the one who keeps us is more than able to care for us when we turn and serve him,and we have newness of life when we turn to his Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through repentance and receive his power through us with the Holy Ghost.”Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. “Acts 2:38).

It is then by that baptism the power of the Holy Spirit has the ability through his people as Jesus said when he spoke to those who follow him that these signs will follow. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; and they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”.(Mark 16:15-18).

No matter how prominent and powerful man thinks he is,there truly is only one power over the entire earth whether man acknowledges it or not and that power is God! “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God”.(Romans 13:1).
