Rise Above

ON EAGLE’S WING’S

There is not one situation we go through upon this earth that God cannot give us the strength to endure and help us to rise above. Even with this assurance some will still try in their own will and be found weak without God! (Isaiah 40:28-31). Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The day will come when the “Song of Moses” will be sung throughout the land by the redeemed and we find this most beautiful song in Deuteronomy 32, as we are told it would be in Revelation 15:3. Within this song we are told how his people will be cared for and are carried on eagle’s wings. (Deuteronomy 32:9-12). For the Lord’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

We can rise above anything for we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! No matter what power or strength we may feel we have, God takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse nor the legs of man but in those who fear him and know that it is in him alone our strength and mercy is found. (Psalm 147:10,11).. He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Always remember if God brings you to anything then he most certainly will bring you through it as well, after all he does not like people bothered that are trying their best to do his will! (Galatians 5:12,13).  I would they were even cut off which trouble you. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
