“PRAISE GOD!”

1

It is God who has created a people to show forth praise unto God in the earth. “He will regard the prayer of the destitute(poor), and not despise their prayer. This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall Praise the Lord. For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death”.  (Psalm 102:17-20).

Even though people think to be Praised by others is of great value,we are told to live as an example of Christ living within us and this will allow others to Praise God for seeing him in us. “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Let another man Praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger and not thine own lips”.(Proverbs 27:1,2).
How can anyone Praise God enough for when we were yet sinners Christ died for us, and to be chosen from the darkness of dead works we become alive in Christ and shine as a light in a dark world! “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the Praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”.(1 Peter 2:9).
There is solely only one God, yet there are many gods among the people all of which are idols. “Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. For great is the Lord, and greatly to be Praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place”.(1 Chronicles 16:23-27).
The Song Of David claims so many promises God brought to pass in Davids life, he never hesitated to Praise God for all of it!. “The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me, And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me; thou hast delivered me from the violent man. Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and I will sing Praises unto thy name. He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore”.(2 Samuel 22:47-51).
It is easy to see within a person when the Lord has touched their life,it is a all encompassing compassion for the one who has saved their soul from the pit of hell and their testimony tells of the Praises they have for their creator and the saviour who touched them! “The lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall Praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations”.(Psalm 145:8-13)
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any Praise, think on these things”.(Philippians 4:8).
