“Gods Guidance Matters”

first

We have heard the saying while the cats away the mouse will play. This is to say if one is in charge then everything is kept in line, but if the one in charge should leave rebellion will rule. This was exactly the way Moses felt as he was guided by God to bring the children of Israel out of bondage into the promised land. Moses knew and saw at times the rebellion of the people and knew when he died they would of course lose sight of the guidance God had given in their lives by Moses obedience to serve God. “For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the Lord; and how much more after my death? For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands”.(Deuteronomy 31:27,29).

Parents know how important it is for to discipline their children as they are growing up, yet if left undone the guidance that was not instilled leaves the child without a strong faith, or morals and a sense of having hope for their lives. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”.(Proverbs 22:6). God our Father feels the same way about his children here on earth, because he loves us and wants us to obey his rules which he knows what is best for us.

Moses was a man so loved by God that he was called his friend. He was always guided by the Almighty to carry out his will and he knew that he nor anyone else could swear my no greater name given man than the name of God! He is a God to be feared and served without turning to any other god as the gods of the people. “Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name. Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off  the face of the earth”.(Deuteronomy 6:13-15).

God keeps all his promises to man, should not we be a faithful and obedient people to the one who created us out of a love he has for us?  “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself”.(Hebrews 6:10-13).

KEEP GODS PROMISES AND HE WILL ALWAYS KEEP YOU!
