“Strange god’s”

Way back when everything came into being and the people who served God Almighty knew where to find him, as to this day he has not moved from his dwelling in heaven! Although man has come up with many inventions to contain him. Even David knew God filled the whole earth and could not be housed or contained………..”But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!”.(2 Chronicles 6:18).

We notice God came down straight from heaven when Nimrod built the tower of Babel and God then confounded their language. To this day man has division within the churches and branch off to make other ways to worship God. Notice God was not speaking to man from a building, but from heaven itself. (Genesis 11:1-9). “The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eye lids try, the children of men”.(Psalm 11:4).

Abraham through faith believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. (Genesis 12:1-3…..15:5,6). God is a jealous God and his jealousy is no different from if we would find love with another other than our own spouse. “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God”.(Exodus 34:14). People today do not think they have idol’s in their life, as they view wickedness and lust which take preeminence over serving God completely or view that as a strange god. God himself says as he said also to Israel that he will not take our enemies out of our way nor feed us with the best if our hearts are set on rebellion. (Psalm 81:8-16).

There are so many churches up and coming just as it was many generations ago, but God still dwells where he always has in heaven. “They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to God, to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not”.(Deuteronomy 32:16,17).

In the final day all will see that God Almighty and the Lamb has always been in heaven!

(Revelation 21:22-27)……………………..
