“The Eyes”

We have heard the saying there are none so blind as those who will not see, which means even if we try till we’re blue in the face to tell someone of a wrong action they won’t see it for a reason. God knows those who are serving him and will allow them to be blind to the right as by free will they have chosen not to serve him. Not only are their eyes blind, but their heart as well. (Ephesians 4:17-20). This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.But ye have not so learned Christ;

How Sovereign and patient God is to have the ability to view evil and stay his hand, as he is of purer eyes and knows there are some chosen for judgment and correction. (Habakkuk 1:12,13). Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

We are always to do good if we are considered to be a Christian, as Gods eyes view good and bad, and we do not want him to turn his face against us. (1 Peter 3:10-13).  For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
