The word which was from the very beginning that was with God and even was God is also Jesus that made all things. (John 1:1-5). In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God.All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
We as grass which withereth, for we are upon this earth for a very short span of time. Though our life come and go the eternal word of God will stand forever! (Isaiah 40:6-8), The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (1 Peter 1:24,25).
Jesus was God in the flesh that walked among men, and was the only begotten of God the Father. (John 1:10-14).
It is never a waste of time to read the scriptures for the word is eternal and by the Spirit of God it is written on our hearts and minds forever. (2 Corinthians 3:2-4). Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
It is the church of the firstborn that is assembled through the Spirit, and is written in heaven! (Hebrews 12:22-25). But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
