As a Christian we are to hate evil if we love the Lord (Psalm 97:10). The enemy of our soul has the ability to make the wrong look right to the one who does not know the word of God and it is written satan can turn himself into an angel of light, and his way is like a rear view mirror that things are closer than they appear and before you know it he has overtaken things but NOT if we are on guard. We are to always forgive one another and in the person of Christ we are able, this way satan has no power over us and we do not hold a grudge. (2 Corinthians 2:10-11). To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
We keep peace in our life by pursuing it with all diligence, this way evil does not get a stronghold in our life. The Lord will remove from the earth the remembrance of those who choose to do evil, but the Lord hears the cry of the righteous. (Psalm 34:14-17). Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
God is not the author of confusion yet many live their lives in constant turmoil and strife from day to day. The wisdom of God is pure and peaceable and makes for peace through righteousness. (1 Corinthians 14:33) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints…… ( James 3:14-18).
