The saying let go and let God holds so true as sometimes we start to let a matter overtake us, we should realize that nothing gets past the eyes of our maker not even for a second and be assured if God brings us to something He can also take us through it for He is able! (Proverbs 15:3) The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good…… (Psalm 11:4).
How easy it is to get worked up over a situation, till we realize EVERYTHING is in God’s plan and timing and He will always be by us and not leave us alone. If we stand back and look at the big picture we can better understand for an answer if we search the scriptures for help. As an example: Take a married couple where one loves the Lord so much and yet the other says they do as well only their actions do not show the concern for Gods way as they should. So the one starts to worry the other will not be saved, but by going to scripture we can find an answer for this matter. (1 Corinthians 7:10-17). And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife? But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.
The beautiful words spoken by Jesus are a comfort when He tells us to not let our hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid! (John 14:27). Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
