” Exalt The Lord “

Psalm 34:1-3 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.  O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Man has made to himself many gods to worship as it is written there are lords and gods many (1 Corinthians 8:5,6), but the one and only true God who made heaven and earth is the Lord that is high above all gods of the people. (Psalm 97:6-10)  The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.  Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord.  For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.  Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked…… (Psalm 95:4-5).

What is sad is when we try to magnify the Lord only to be shunned by those who will exalt their religion that has nothing to do with God Almighty but only the traditions of men that is not ordained by God. (Job 36:22-26).  Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?  Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?  Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.  Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.  Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

It is not by doing our own way that brings honor to God, but when we do what is right and pleasing in Gods eyes that we see it is righteousness that exalts a nation. (Proverbs 14:34). Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

In the end when God will judge the nations it will be the Lord alone that will be exalted in that day! (Isaiah 2:10-12).  Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty.  The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.  For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
