” Declare His Work’s “

thCAB7SEZAb

Jesus was sent to us to declare His Father’s name among the nation’s, and to make people aware of the love the Father has for His children. (John 17:22-26)  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.  O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them….. John 15:9).

Those who are called into the ministry of Christ know it has been declared that Jesus is the Son of God, and through His Spirit we preach the gospel among many as Paul also proclaimed. (Romans 1:1-6).  Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:  By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

How many during the war found themselves upon treacherous waters as well as those who trade by sea and have seen the mighty hand of God calm the waters! May they declare that as they cried to the Lord in their trouble He brought them out of their distress. (Psalm 107: 23-31). They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;  These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.  For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.  They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.  He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
