We live in a time where so many claim Christianity yet their actions are opposite of a servant of Christ. Isis follows a belief system that has taken the lives of many innocent people and are rapidly drawing youths into its evil clutches. If the truth of God were taught by example as it should be to our children then they would not be so eager to believe the deception being offered them! They would know what the true battle of Christ is, and what it means to live in obedience to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6). For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
One single life can truly make a difference in any situation, and we see this in the life which Christ lived in obedience making a huge difference. It was by Adams transgression sin entered the world, but by the grace of God did Christ bring the gift of righteousness and justification of life upon all men. (Romans 5:14-19). Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
When we repent it frees us from a life which was not pleasing to God, and we then by obedience serve Christ never to return to the former life we served in ignorance. (1 Peter 1:13-16). Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
