Jesus did so much at the cross for us and it is His shed blood which has purchased eternal redemption for all who love and accept Him! Imagine a world of unending joy, peace and no pain or tears forever. (Hebrews 9:12-15) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance…… (Romans 8:1-5).
It is written from the very beginning God has redeemed His people from egypt (Bondage), nations (People), and gods that are no gods (False teachings), scripture calls serving other gods are idols and people are serving wood and stone which cannot save. (2 Samuel 7:22-24) Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods? For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, Lord, art become their God…… (Isaiah 45:20-25).
We have been set free and delivered from the power of darkness and are known as the children of light! It is written satan has deceived many (2 Corinthians 4:3-4), but the day will come when he will have no power over the believer to taunt and tempt them, and the power of Christ has the ability to forgive our sins and we are translated into His kingdom. (Colossians 1:12-18). Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
