The Lords prayer ends with telling us He is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever and this is strength for all those who believe.
His kingdom…..Before we come to the knowledge of the truth found only in Christ we live our lives by our own will. Then as we learn of the kingdom of God His light then shines through our mortal soul and we become the light that shines in a world of darkness. We are then translated into the unending kingdom of Christ (Colossians 1:10-16), 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Isaiah 9:6,7).
His power…..”For though He was crucified through weakness , yet He liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you”(2 Corinthians 13:4).
“And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities , that the power of Christ may rest upon me(2 Corinthians 12:9).
His glory…..Our Lords glory far exceeds this present life, for His glory is ever eternal! (Ephesians 1:17-23).
