God does not want us to continue in our sin,nor to sit on the fence and not be able to decide if we want to serve Him or not therefore being double-minded. He will draw near to us when we in turn draw closer to Him! (James 4:5-8).
It is written that God knows those who are His(2 Timothy 2:19), and Jesus said no man can come to Him except the Father which has sent Him draw Him. (John 6:44). No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
God is our safe haven, a place where we can go to when we need peace from all the chaos in this life. (Psalm 73:28).But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
It is up to us to make the decision to draw closer to He who has created us. He alone knows our heart and mind and knows us better than anyone. In times of uncertainty God is one who never changes and we can take comfort in this.
