The knowledge of God has the ability to make one who is poor wiser than the well learned in the wisdom of the world (Ecclesiastes 9:14-18) 14 There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: 15 Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man. 16 Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard. 17 The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools. 18 Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
Daniel gave all glory to God and knew very well the wisdom he had came from God and not of himself (Daniel 2:20-23) 20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: 22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. 23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.
We are illuminated with the wisdom of God when we truly repent and are given the holy spirit which then keeps us in remembrance of Gods word we now stand for! (Ephesians 1:17-19),(John 16:13-15).
God does not call upon those who are well learned of the ways of the world, but the weak, despised and lowly does He for to confound the worlds wisdom which is foolishness in His eyes (1 Corinthians 1:25-31).
