There are so many blessings of the christian life, and when we magnify the Lord over ourselves the blessings of God overflow.
There are many markers which allow us to see what it takes to walk with the Lord, and for those who love His way the blessings are an encouragement that shows us we are doing His will and on the right path. It is the faithful that endure temptation and always pray even when it’s the hardest thing to do does God take notice of the love we have for Him. As christians we must pray for one another, be faithful and endure many things in this life.
Job is the perfect example of how after suffering great loss in his life he remained FAITHFUL to God and was blessed more at the end of his life than in the beginning. There was one thing that Job did which moved God to greatly bless him as He did, and that was he PRAYED for his friends who were many times against him more than they were for him (Job 42:10-17)
When WE ENDURE temptation and stay the course by keeping Gods way, we show Him His way is more important to us than the way of the world! (James 1:12-15) 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Many of us know the passages that we call the beatitudes and it is the true list of just what it takes to live a blessed life (Matthew 5:1-12) :1And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
Mat 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
