Did you know when we become the righteousness of God it is not just for that moment in time when we come to the Lord in genuine repentance, but it is a gift given us that we will celebrate all the days of our life! When Zach-a-ri’-as was filled with the Holy Spirit he began to prophesy of the many things our Lord would give to His people including holiness and righteousness (Luke 1:67-75)
Our righteousness goes uncelebrated because we may think how can we be righteous if we are sinners? living as though we were not saved. We must keep in mind this is the enemy of our soul (satan) planting such a thought in us, afterall his whole purpose is to kill steal and destroy any good our Father and Saviour has given to us (John 10:10).
We must take God at His word and apply it to our life that WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD! By not accepting this wonderful gift we are recrucifying our Lord as though He has done nothing through His suffering. WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD! Many tell of the His saving grace, love of God, gift’s of the Spirit, but what if we realized we are made the righteousness of God because of our belief that if God tells us we are then it is true! We are not righteous by any means of our own volition BUT IN CHRIST is our righteousness found, by the faith we have in Him. It is not us it is He who has made us THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD!!!!!!
When we think outside of Christ the flesh takes over and we miss a lot of what our Lord has died to give us. It is written we are dead and our life is hid in Christ, therefore the worlds wisdom is foolishness to God, but in Him we are now THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD through Christ! (1 Corinthians 1:26-31) 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
We now no longer live as though we need to be saved, we now live in light of the knowledge of the one who has made us to be THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD!

We only deserve hell in ourselves, so obviously it’s not connecting with our doing.

It’s worthwhile, because I want all of my brethren to celebrate that God has made them His righteousness. And if they see others celebrating this magnificent gift, maybe they will know this same joy.
I don’t know if I stated it clearly, but I believe that people don’t embrace celebrating that they’re the righteousness of God, because Christians associate righteousness with their doing. (Which none of us score very well). Which makes sense why people are sheepish about this subject.

I hear you Lee! I believe how you say people think it is of their own doing (works) and cannot obtain the righteousness of God….BUT it is a FREE GIFT from our Father! How some can say they are christians and shy away from the gift God has placed in them makes no sense, the spirit is as a burning fire within and needs to be broadcast around the world! Praise God in this day and age Lee with technology we have the ability to preach the word to the nations which brings the following passage to life! “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14). Stay strong in Him and we will keep banging the drum as long as we are given the time to do so. Blessings.

In addition to what I’ve already replied here, I want to add that God has blessed me by letting me see His work in you in regard to this as subject of owning His righteousness as your own.
So few people, will publicly own the righteousness of God. So when I see it, it’s like getting to see a rare miracle.
Similarly, I had a dear brother in Christ text message me yesterday about this topic after reading my post about this, (now deleted).
This mornin, I posted a brand new post on this subject that I believe communicates more effectively.
And I’ve asked my friend if I can include his text message in that post.
And if he permits me to post it, I believe that yourself and many others will be blessed by what he had to say.
And once again, I thank you for stepping forward and not being ashamed to believe God in what He has done for us.

I’ll do my best to help you. You say your header picture changed….Go to the LEFT and click on MY SITE then go down to APPEARANCE and a window opens and then click on HEADER. This should fix that.
To save your draft go to the RIGHT after you have written your post and click on SAVE DRAFT then wait a minute to load. To make sure it saved to draft go back to LEFT side and click on ALL POSTS and there should be what you saved. Hope this helps. Let me know.
