The anointed of God

Just as many struggle to believe how those who are in Christ are said to be His saint’s, there are others who also have a difficult time to believe we are His anointed! So what is it to be anointed of God? It means we receive the wisdom and knowledge of God when we receive the holy spirit after genuine repentance (Acts 2:38), and His spirit then guides and directs us in that which pertains to God. It is not the wisdom of the world for that is foolishness to God, but wisdom that comes from the heart of God! (John 16:13-15) 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. ( 1 Corinthians 1:25-31).

When we are born again there are no words to explain how the scripture which was once so difficult to understand is easier to read and comes alive when the veil is removed in Christ. (2 Corinthians 3:14-18)

Gods anointing teaches us the truth of His word through the holy spirit without any translation man may have to help us understand it (1 John 2:27-29) 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1:19-21).

  1. I especially enjoy reading this:

(John 16:13-15) 13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”

    Amen x a million 🙏

    • Yes! I too enjoy reading this, for once we are born of the spirit we are never our own again Thank God! When I read where it says He shall not speak of Himself ; but whatsoever He shall hear proves Our Lord listened for the still small voice of His Father just as we too speak speak what we hear in the ear as instructed 27  What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. (Matthew 10:27). Many Blessings to you Lee.
