God so loved us such that He gave His only Son Jesus so that we might be saved. Knowing this, how should we pray? He will answer if we ask and our prayers do make a difference. We should ask God with fervency what His will is for our lives.
“Then Jacob asked him, ‘Please tell me your name.’ But he said, ‘Why is it that you ask my name?’ And there he blessed him. So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, ‘For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.’”
(Genesis 32:29-30)
We do not need to see God face to face to know what His will is. By obeying His Word, we will know God and we will know what He desires for us. His will is for us to love Him more than anything in this world…
