How many people have seen the hand of God move in their life to bring about a blessing or even a miracle for them? Some feel God is too busy to know them, but he is not far from any one of us if we seek him we will find him. Paul taught this when he saw the people worshipping to an unknown God. “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is he worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us”.(Acts 17:24-27).
God looks down from heaven to see what his children are doing, and moves on their behalf if our heart is set on serving him. We see how vital it is to rely on the Lord as Asa the king of Judah did not and was reprimanded because of it or if he had the Lord most assuredly would have been there for him….. “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars”.(2 Chronicles 16:9).
Christ is our mediator and stands before God on our behalf, and for all Jesus did for us at the cross it is an honor to suffer for his sake! Even our adversaries believe us to be doing opposite of what God asks and it is his will and not our own we will do. “And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me”.(Philippians 1:28-30).
Gideon was a person who loved the Lord and he saw God move on his behalf and like many of us he asked God for a sign to know for sure it was from him, and God told Gideon Israel would be saved by his hand. When Gideon placed fleece on the floor he asked God to have dew fall on the fleece and not on the ground and again the opposite to have the ground heave with dew and the fleece dry and God did so for his servant. (Judges 6:36-40).
God knows those who are his and will always be there for us when we live within his will and not our own………As the Lords prayer says: Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done……………
I was just thinking about Gideon and the fleece the other day and how he wanted assurance from God!
I really like that story as Gideon was so much like us to ask for a sign that God hears us. Good we were on the same page as in Him we are of one mind. Blessings over you Always.

So amazing— He has determined our times and even where we live, the bounds of our habitations. He does this for all of creation. I have had a woodpecker that visits every year nearby— always in the same area. What a blessing this post was, thank you!
I hear you! Why we sit and fret at times when God has everything already set, but I guess it is our human nature and the enemy of our soul to cause us to doubt at times. I love that you say our habitations are already determined…. so true I have read that in scripture. The birds too as you say are guided by Him because the hummingbirds I get are the same…… I had one who came here for five years that had one leg. God Is Awesome!!!! Thankful you were Blessed by this post! Blessings over you Always as you walk with Him.

Yes, we fret. This Scripture comes to mind…
John 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
He hears our every cry and His answers to our prayers are amazing! 🙌
How Blessed we are to have a Father in heaven who hears our every cry! Nothing in this earth compares to His love NOTHING! Blessings Always Cathy.
