We are all born into the world unaware of all it has to offer and we soon learn of it’s way’s. Many of us learn from young on of the love of God and that Jesus is our friend. Then as we grow older we begin to venture out into the world as God becomes smaller and the world’s pleasures become more magnified. There is confirmation in scripture that children walk closely with God as we read of the knowledge they have beyond their years. “But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein“.(Luke 18:16,17).
Children are a huge part of God’s plan in this life as they teach us the act of forgiveness alot of times more than adults. When we see children playing and have an argument it lasts not very long and you see them playing together as though nothing happened. It’s easy to see why God calls them the greatest in the kingdom as they love without reservation, and almost instantly forgive and at times speak the word of God unexpectedly! Did you know God speaks through children to be strong against those who are enemies to his way? “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger”.(Psalm 8:2).
God oftentimes has children placed in positions we may not even think they should be in, as there will be a time coming when children will rule over many which are in high placed work. “The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, and every one by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable”.(Isaiah 3:2-5).
The kingdom of God will be as the earth was so very long ago when there was innocence within the land! there will be no ravenous beasts, and mankind will learn the will of God and choose it as a way of life. (Isaiah 11:6-9).
This is beautifully written. I have two young children and so this definitely brought some wisdom home to me.
So Thankful this was a Blessing to you! God Bless and Keep you Always close.
