There are those in this life who decide to follow that which is evil instead of good, and we as christians must guard our heart’s and minds by avoiding such people (Proverbs 4:14-19). Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
We must do our best to stay the course which leads to life, and avoid the most stressful of situations when it is in our power to do so! (2 Timothy 2:22-26) Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Sometimes we try our best to answer questions which we need not be answering for Christs sake, such as foolish questions that add to our hardship (Titus 3:9-11). But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
Amen! We must follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace; and with them call on the Lord
Very well said! Blessings Always.
