Marked by God For Better Things

When we seek the Lords counsel the worlds wisdom pales in comparison to the infinite power of the Living God. If we come to realize that no matter what we set out to do it is His will that fills the earth therefore we should keep His word within us at all times for in the latter days He will perform the thoughts of His heart and not ours. (Jeremiah 23:18-20).  For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?  Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. The anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

His people are marked upon their forehead, which means their thoughts keep and follow only the word of God, and will under no circumstances worship satan (the beast) and will one day reign with Christ! (Revelation 20:4-5) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection…… (Revelation 14:9-12).

We are marked by the faith we live by, and we know in our hearts the God we follow knows that we are His. (2 Timothy 2:19) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

The servant’s of God are marked for better things than they could ever have attained here on earth their temporary home, for they are sealed with the Holy Spirit till the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:29-32Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you……

(Revelation 5:9).
