God Compares Man’s Actions With Animals And Nature

(DOG) A very good lesson of the strength and power of God we see in a life of David when he was in front of Goliath the Philistine who was ready to fight him with a sword, spear, and shield in which David simply says that he comes in the name of the Lord of hosts who is the God of the armies of Israel! Goliath thought it was funny that David had a stick (staves) and said: Do you think I’m a dog? that you come after me with sticks. (1 Samuel 17:43-47).

(PIG) A woman who has no morals or as some would say is a loose woman God compares as a pig with a gold jewel in her snout. The picture here is even though she is all decked out to the hilt with beautiful hair just so and jewelry upon her, it is her behaviour that makes her filthy. (Proverbs 11:22) As a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion…… (1 Peter 3:1-5).

(LION) The wicked are compared to a lion that waits secretly in his den to catch the poor and needy, but as written the lot of the wicked will be hell and any nation that chooses to forget God. (Psalm 9:16-17) The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.  The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

(LILLIES) Solomon had more than heart could wish, but the beauty of the lilies of the field are of greater loveliness than all that Solomon in all his glory ever could have hoped for to of had! (Matthew 6:28-30). And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

(SHEEP) We know of the gentleness of a Lamb and those who bear the name of the Lord are as sheep led to the slaughter. Jesus the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world never opened His mouth in the most trying and perilous time of His life all out of the Love He has for us! (Isaiah 53:6-12). All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.  Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

(FLOWERS & GRASS) We are compared to a flower that is most beautiful in full bloom, only to wither away as the grass! (Isaiah 40:6-8) The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

  1. “His watchmen are blind; they are all without knowledge; they are all silent dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all.” Isa. 56:10-11

“silent dogs” they do not bark to alert His people of the storm which is coming. They speak of peace and abundance in the day of great preparation.
