The Strongest Of Faith

Setting our hand to the plow and not looking back and only looking forward in faith will move any mountain in our life! It took a strong faith for Moses to totally rely on God when he was sent before Pharoah, yet he went and freed the Israelites from bondage. How awesome it must have been to see the red sea part in front of him as he moved the Israelites out of bondage!

When we too are going through the wilderness of our lives we must remember it is the going through hard times that is refining us for God’s purpose and glory.

It took a strong faith for Joshua and Caleb to be able to go to the promised land and move forward after the spies said there were giants and a stronger people and it would’nt be a good idea to go. (Numbers 13:30-33) And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

A lot of times we need to step out in faith to see the bigger picture God wants us to see, and many times that is an isolated solemn journey through a wilderness!……………

The bread of life (Spiritual Food + Christ) gives one a more enduring strength than any physical food we could eat. It is never a pleasant thing to be chastened by the Lord, Yet it is out of Love he chooses to do so with his children. When we are tried in this life to our limits we are being tried of God to see what we’re made of as he gently and at times strongly guides his children closer to him in faithfulness! He proved the Israelites the same way as he still does His children today. (Deuteronomy 8:2-5) And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chaseneth thee.

Hebrews Chapter 11 teaches us of all who have gone before us, and how they knew the importance of having a strong faith in God!

  1. Awesome, our God is a faith God, which can only be apprehended by faith. To please him we need faith, to walk with him we need faith, and I think that’s why it written the “just shall live by faith”

  2. Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into light. The only way to be strong in faith is to endure great trials. Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue.
