Although I didn’t understand it at the time my mother always said if you want to understand the world a lot of times things are opposite of what they are, then she would smile and say it’s backwards. Now that I’m older her words ring true as people will look at you straight in the face and lie without batting an eye and say God bless you as though God does not see or hear them as blessing another person is a Christian act. (1 John 2:3-6).  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

 God is well aware of who’s doing what, and says woe to those who call evil good and good evil. As some will even reward the workers of iniquity which removes the righteousness of those who are choosing what is right. (Isaiah 5:20-23)  Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!…. (Proverbs 24:23-26).

 It actually tires God out to constantly see those who claim to be doing good, yet are doing opposite. By doing so is to say there is no just judgment with God. (Malachi 2:17). Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

 Man’s thought’s and ways are a far cry from a life that is well pleasing to God. When His words are spoken it accomplishes all He has sent it out to do in the earth. We see this in those who were sent to be His messengers of the good news of the gospel. (Isaiah 55:8-11).  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
