When there are huge masses of people like at a football stadium we say it looks like a sea of people. God uses symbolic ways to teach us, and as we search the scriptures He reveals to us hidden riches that no amount of money can buy for the peace it brings! His protection surrounds us always. (Psalm 18:16-20) He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

 When we feel overwhelmed in life it feels as though we are in the depths of deep waters as though the waves will overtake us. Praise God for His genuine love He shows towards us as a life raft to our soul! (Isaiah 43:1,2) But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

  What a precious promise God gives us that through our troubles He will show us there are teachers of His way to guide us, and His still small voice will allow us to know we are following Him if we are sensitive in listening. (Isaiah 30:20,21) And although the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

 It is written the wicked are as the troubled sea that cannot rest. Jesus is the fountain of living waters and alot of us love the 23rd Psalm which tells us he leads us beside the still waters. Have you ever sat beside still waters of a stream as the glistening waters run gently over pebbles……the worlds commotion fades as we stare into it’s calming state! (Revelation 7:17) For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (Psalm 23:2).

  The word of God literally has the power to wash us clean and sanctify us as Jesus taught of the one true church he purchased with His blood. There is power in the blood of Christ! (Ephesians 5:25-27)Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.(Acts 20:28).

  May we never forget that our Lord brought us Living Water so that we may never thirst again!   John 4:14…………………….
