Jesus said before his return it will be as in the days of Noah. To study in Genesis of how it was in Noahs day we can see a clear picture of the signs we’re to look for before Christs’ return (Matthew 24:37-39) But as the days of No’-e were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No’-e entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

 God does not leave His people wondering what it will be like before He returns, but teaches us through His word what the signs we are to look for. For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear will by Gods wisdom be aware of His return.

 God makes a covenant with Job whose heart is right with Him, just as with us whose heart is set on Him will God make a covenant again with His people! GENESIS 6:18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark; thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons wives with thee”.

 HEBREWS 10:15-17 New Covenant Made: “Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more”.

 2 PETER 3:6,7 Earth Destroyed By Fire “Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men”.

 GENESIS 6:5-7,13 Great Violence, Evil, and Wickedness Covers The Land “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air, for it repented me that I have made them”.

 1 JOHN 2:17-19 People Live Away From Christ Therefore There Are Many Anti-Christ’s Within The Earth “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that an’-ti-christ shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us”.

 GENESIS 7:18-22 Highly Unusual Weather….Very Prominent “And he waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of ever creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died”.

 MATTHEW 24:6,7 Increase Of Famines, Pestilences, and Earthquakes “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places”.

 Of all we have just read we see God truly does allow us to look towards the signs of His return, and for those who do not He will return as a thief in the night to them!
