How many times are we being watched over by God and not realize His hand is in the situation? My parents have both passed, but I am blessed with a mother in law who understands the power of Gods guidance in one’s life. She once told me of a time when her and my father in law were traveling and came upon a detour which they took and after safely arriving to their destination later that day learned that the place they were detoured from had a tornado pass through right over that road! This true example shows us if we heed the signs placed before us for our good that we are blessed in deed…….. while my in laws could have avoided the signs as some that day may have we must know that God knows us always for our good and there are no coincidences as His path is always best. (Proverbs 3:5,6). Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Many will go about through their day and choose to do whatever they want and yes things will work out at times, but for those who seek direction from God and seek out His path will be amazed at just how more works out by being under His guidance. (Psalm 17:5-8). Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech. Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
We read in Exodus of the ultimate guidance of God when by stretching out His hand made it possible for the Israelites to pass on dry land through the red sea! What a sight that must have been to see water rise on either side as they passed safely through! (Exodus 15:8-13). And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters. Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.
As christians we do not put our confidence in people, but surrender unto God the Father who alone will guide and direct us through all matters we encounter in our life (Psalm 31:1-7) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me. Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength. Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD. I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities.
When we pray for God’s guidance and for discernment through the Holy Spirit, we can rest assured that God will provide wisdom!
It is such sage wisdom we receive from God our Father. Many blessings.

Liked the article! The thing I pray for most is patience in truth and perseverance in faith. The children of Israel saw the miracle at the red sea after all the other miracles before that and a few months later at the foot of Mount Sinai (Horeb) after Moses returned in 40 days, he found a golden calf. It’s been almost 2000 years since Christ was sacrificed and Christianity has had much time to build many calves. Sad, but true, yet very few hear or see that which is coming. Pressing onward, and continuingly praying for strength and guidance. LOLGB+
I love everything you wrote here. Blessings.
