God has spoke to man since the beginning of creation. Just as He spoke to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, He still speaks to us today! (Genesis 3:8) And they heard the voice of the Lord walking in the garden in the cool of the day:and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

 He also spoke to Moses out of the burning bush, what a sight that must have been to behold a burning bush which was never consumed, and then to have God actually speak from the midst of it! (Exodus 3:1-6) Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

 God still speaks to His children today in this generation! He speaks through His Holy Spirit of truth and guides His people whose heart is set on serving Him (John 14:15-18) If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

 His voice goes unnoticed for many because it is mistaken as their conscience. It is God’s still small voice that guides us even now and proof is shown in the following statement: Ever hear someone say if I just would have listened to my first thought,my conscience is usually right. God’s guidance is always the best decision for His children. He has Loved and guided them since man was created upon the earth!

 Sadly in the wilderness the people hardened their heart’s towards God even after many miracles, may we not do as they did for God is still speaking to His people (Hebrews 3:7,8) Wherefore as the Holy Ghost saith,Today if ye will hear his voice,Harden not your hearts,as in the provocation,in the day of temptation in the wilderness.

 He’s speaking……are you listening? He Loves You…..and is waiting!
