Thank You Lord, for all you stand for

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. (Psalm 95:1-3).

When we come out of a very difficult time such as the loss of a loved one, an unforeseen accident or illness, we are reminded of the Lords words that He will never leave or forsake us! Our lord was sent to us for so many reasons such as to comfort, renew our strength and even the promise of eternal life! He truly has been sent to heal the brokenhearted in which we are thankful for (Isaiah 61:1-3). The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

We may ask how could Job praise God after suffering such a great loss of all of his children, his servants and his cattle, only to fall upon the ground and worship Him? Without knowing who God is it would be impossible to do,but Job knew the love and comfort of his Lord. There is so much to be thankful for and thank God for sending His Son to be the saviour of the world and the promise of eternity!(1 John 5:11-15). And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7).

  2. Think not of the body of flesh and blood in this world, for its death is but the birth pains of the new birth from being begotten by the Holy Spirit and gestating in the wisdom of the Lord to be born again into the Kingdom of God. (1Cor. 15:12-58, John 3:1-8) LOLGB+
