Our Heritage

From the very beginning God has always been mindful and merciful to His people, and there is no one like the God we serve who is faithful to His word and His heritage. (Micah 7:18-20).  Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

There is protection in serving the Lord and it is His promise to us that any weapon formed against us will not prosper, and it is our heritage for being obedient! (Isaiah 54:14-17).  In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

We acquire our heritage from a lifetime of being an obedient servant to the Lord and by the testimony we share with others (Psalm 119:111) Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. (Revelation 19:10)
