In the gospel of John we find the passage that mentions the one and only time mansions is said and it holds much meaning. Jesus is confronted by Thomas doubting about how the disciples can join Him and asks where is He is going? and how can they get there and know the way? Jesus simply states it is in following Him and His truth that the destination is possible to get to not only Him but also the Father. (John 14:1-6). Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

We read of different doors in scripture and one that is very important is the door that may be shut to the masters house, never to be opeed. The narrow gate leading to this glorious door is not an easy one, but is attainable if one is serious to enter it as we do not want to hear the words depart from me for I never knew you. BUT WHY? what would keep anyone out? It is plainly stated that iniquity is the culprit as many will say they heard the word in the streets or ate and drank in his presence, yet to stay in sin is a sure way to not be able to enter! Anyone can hear the word, but it is the applying it to our lives that make the difference. (Luke 13:23-30). Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Next time you feel the Lord knocking on the door of your heart allow Him to enter and your life will be forever changed, and not just now but for all Eternity! (Revelation 3:20). Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Our Lord has promised He will be with us always, even until the end of the world! (Matthew 28:18-20) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
