“The Hidden”

It is written that we are to stay true to the word of God and his ways, or suffer consequences for wrong actions that are not hidden from the eyes of God. There are people who truly believe that God does not have a wrath to pour out upon the earth and live blindly in their sin. Sounds great but is not biblical. “Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgement; and some men they follow after. Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be HID”.

 (1 Timothy 5:24,25).
When Jesus said let the blind lead the blind it was not a physical blindness, but a life lived outside of his ways and leading others to do the same. “Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not. But have renounced the HIDDEN things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be HID, it is HID to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, But Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake”.(2 Corinthians 4:1-5).
We are told to let our lights shine and to not  put it under a bushel, but to put it on a lampstand for all to see. This light is the light of the word (God’s knowledge)…. Jesus is known as the light that came into this world of darkness. For those who choose to do wickedly though they think that if their deeds are done at night then God does not see what their doing and if they refuse to read God’s word they will blindly continue in their evil as we’re told in the book of Isaiah. “Woe unto them that seek deep to HIDE their council from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth?”.(Isaiah 29:15). God is omnipresent and the dark is as the light to him and there is no where to hide anything from the keeper of us all even though many try.
When people are overtaken in the darkness of their deeds and are set on doing evil, they really believe that the snares and devices they are setting up will overtake the one their plotting against. God on the other hand has another plan for the believers life and has his protection over those whose heart is set on him and the devices of the wicked cannot come to pass. “The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they HID is their own foot taken”.(Psalm 9:15).
If we stay true to serving the Lord God and stay on the narrow path, when the day of the Lord comes and his anger is kindled from the wickedness in the world may he remember mercy and hide us from his wrath. “Gather yourselves together. yea, gather together, O nation not desired. Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgement; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be HID in the day of the Lord’s anger”.(Zephaniah 2:1-3).
Jesus word’s are encouraging when we read that he has overcome the world and we too can do the same by the Holy Spirit that he has sent to us. And as he is known as the bread of life did you know if we too overcome as he did we will be given HIDDEN manna to eat! “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the HIDDEN manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it”.(John 16:33)…(Revelation 2:17).
