“The Spirit Filled Life”

Our conversation is not of the world, but of a kingdom that will one day reign upon this earth by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! We are to stand strong in our faith and those around us will see who we live for. “Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of our affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel”.(Philippians 1:27).

A very good indication of one who’s mind is stayed on Christ is they apply to every situation in their life by lining it up with the Holy Word of God. Many a saved person can tell you how they used to live before being born again, and it does not come without cost as some will have friends and family turn away when thy speak of the cross. They are suddenly different as others continue to speak of the world and are heard, while they speak of Christ and are not heard. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hearby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error”.(1 John 4:4-6).

When we either by choice or by a call on our life those who now live for Christ alone knows of the persecution and finger pointing of being odd or peculiar, yet within their spirit know that Jesus was not of this world nor are those who follow him………. And yes they are known as peculiar people set aside or to d the will of God. “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present wold; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our saviour Jesus Christ. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee”  .(Titus 2:12,15).
