Finding Gods Peace

At times when in the midst of our own personal turmoil its not easy to see past our surroundings, and question where is God in all of this. We can be assured He is where He has always been and that is right there beside us! We can only find the peace of God when we realize it is better to surrender our life to Him, after all it is He who created us and knows exactly what is needed and that is best for us. ( John 14:27 ). 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

A lot of times we are our own worst enemy and by searching our own heart we can come to a place of peace by choosing to change what we can and allowing God to work through us. ( Psalm 51:10-12 ). 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Scripture teaches us if we apply to our life what we receive and learn of the word that the God of peace will be with us. ( Philippians 4:6-9 ).

Psalm 119:165, Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
