The City Of God

 We live in a world where fences go up and divides neighbor’s. One will speak peace to their neighbor,but in his heart plans to lay a snare for the one they claim to like. Praise God that in His city their will be no divisions among the people and all will be in peace and one accord! (Jeremiah 9:8,9) Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait. Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?.

 The city which God has prepared for His people will be one not only without fences, but also without wall’s! It will have wall’s of a different sort that God has made of a different kind of fence to withhold peace. (Isaiah 26:1-3) In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks. Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

 Peace will abound in the Holy city of God, and there will be no need of the sun to light upon man as God Himself and Christ the Lamb will be the light and the temple of this great city unending! (Revelation 21:22-25) And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour unto it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

 This will be a city filled only with people who love God and Christ, and will sing praises without ceasing for all eternity. (Revelation 19:5-7) And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

 Those who lived and died for the faith they held for God will grace this most wonderful and beautiful city, a place of much joy, peace, without pain or tears! It will be something to behold and to see Moses, Elijah, David and many others who knew of the importance of being a servant of the most high God of all eternity. People who just like us had a faith though not seen with the naked eye, yet know through spiritual eyes all the promises of God truly do exist! We can read of others who walked in the wilderness of this life, as they were misunderstood and changed nations when moved by the Holy Spirit of God. Hebrews Chapter 11 tells of our brothers and sister’s who have gone before us and who we will one day meet.

    • It is coming here! i.e., “…descending out of heaven from God.”. (Rev.21:10) It’s huge – 12,000 furlong (606 ft./furlong) > 12,000 X 606 = 7,272,000 feet (1377.2727 miles) long, wide and high (Rev. 21:16), like a pyramid with five corners with Christ as the chief cornerstone. The nations saved shall walk in the light of it. Kings shall bring their glory and honor into it (Rev.21:24) And they (the kings) shall bring the glory (G1391) and honor (G5091) of the nations into it. (Rev. 21:26)

      G1391 – δόξα – glory (as very apparent), in a wide application (literal or figurative, objective or subjective)
      Derivation: from the base of G1380;
      KJV Usage: dignity, glory(-ious), honour, praise, worship.

      >G1380 – δοκέω – compare the base of G1166) of the same meaning; to think; by implication, to seem (truthfully or uncertainly)
      Derivation: a prolonged form of a primary verb, δόκω (used only in an alternate in certain tenses;
      KJV Usage: be accounted, (of own) please(-ure), be of reputation, seem (good), suppose, think, trow.

      G5091 – τιμή – a value, i.e. money paid, or (concretely and collectively) valuables; by analogy, esteem (especially of the highest degree), or the dignity itself
      Derivation: from G5099;
      KJV Usage: honour, precious, price, some.

      >G5099 – τίνω – ; to pay a price, i.e. as a penalty
      Derivation: strengthened for a primary τίω (which is only used as an alternate in certain tenses);
      KJV Usage: be punished with.

      What can the nations produce that is more glorious and honorable with precious dignity that is of their own pleasure into a city with streets made of pure gold? (Rev.21:21)

      Eze. 37:25, Prov. 17:6, Romans 8:19-22, (Creature and creation are from the same Greek term – κτίσις
      original formation (properly, the act; by implication, the thing, literally or figuratively)
      Derivation: from G2936;
      KJV Usage: building, creation, creature, ordinance

      >G2936 – κτίζω – to fabricate, i.e. found (form originally)
      Derivation: probably akin to G2932 (through the idea of proprietorship of the manufacturer);
      KJV Usage: create, Creator, make.

      >>G2932 – κτάομαι – to get, i.e. acquire (by any means; own)
      Derivation: a primary verb;
      KJV Usage: obtain, possess, provide, purchase.

      Is. 45:18, (Both heavens and earth), Gen.22:17

      How many stars are there, not only in our Milky Way galaxy, but all the thousands of galaxies combined that are yet to be numbered in the increased knowledge of these end times? (Dan. 12:4) The glorious plan the Almighty Father and the King of Kings has instore for mankind in the new heavens (universe) and the new earth (center and capital of the universe) is beyond imagination.
