“O love the LORD, all ye his saints:for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.” (Psalm 31:23,24).

The saint’s and people of God, the called, the chosen, the elect, the predestined serve a God that is above all god’s! It is by His spirit He placed within us do we have the courage and strength in which Moses spoke of when he was sending Joshua to the promised land! (Deuteronomy 31:6-8) Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it. And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

We are a light in a world of darkness and are told to put on the mind of Christ and therein brings persecution to the saint’s,for the children of the world seek their own and we seek the things that be of God. The world speaks of its owns, and we are of God therefore the world hears us not (1 John 4:4-6) Ye are of God,little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Its important to remember God knows those who are His and the world and the wicked will always hate the good in you. The more you speak the word the greater the opposition. (Psalm 34:21,22) Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

As the people of God our conversation does not resemble the language the world speaks, and those of the world do not hesitate to show their dislike for what we stand for in the Lord!(Psalm 37:14) The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

Just as God led the Israelites out of the bondage of the taskmasters of Egypt, He frees the soul’s of His people today and the saint’s that stand for Him will reap great reward! (Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Just as our Lord told His disciples to wait for power from on high, we too are endued with such power by His spirit today! (Luke 24:49) And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Truly the joy of the Lord is our strength!
