This post is dedicated to Beth a true sister in Christ who needs prayer for her Son who is struggling as so many of us have in this life. I ask that you pray for him and that he finds the comfort he is so desperately in need of that is found only in Christ. Thank You….. For if two or three are gathered together in His name there is He in the midst of them! https://bornagain732com.wordpress.com/blog-2/
When David was delivered from all his enemies and from the hand of Saul he wrote a song unto the Lord as he took refuge in Him. (2 Samuel 22:1-7) And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears……… (Psalm 18).
God is a sure shelter from the storms of life, whether a band of enemies or a weather storm which causes mass destruction. We need to take comfort in the only hope we have in this life, not the security blanket of false promises from heads of state but in the sure promise of comfort in The One Who Is Our Life THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! (Colossians 3:2-4). Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
There are so many lies and false teachings out there that have been passed down by our forefathers, yet the Lord will move His hand across the land so He is known for the Lord He is. (Jeremiah 16:19-21). O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The Lord.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4).
Oh my, thank you so much, dear sister!! 🙏🏻❤️😭
You are good enough, smart enough, beautiful enough, strong enough. Believe it, and never let insecurity run your life. Trust yourself. You have survived a lot. You will survive whatever that present itself now and whatever that is coming. I have never meet a strong person with an easy past. Don’t give up!
What encouragement this is for Ben and all who are struggling. God Bless You for such uplifting support!
